Old shoes, houses and people may hide a story to tell, more or less dramatic.
I started with water colors at school, painting portraits and adventures, inspired by the illustrated weekly magazine Rekord Magasinet. As I was a teenage musician, my inspiration to paint were portraits and Jesus Christ and Oscar Brown Jr. were some of my first essays. The surrealism influenced me and Salvador Dali paintings made me discover the classic art masters, such as Leonardo DaVinci, Rafael, Caravaggio, etc. As a student in art school I used to draw and paint, my old boots. My portrait objects became more older, depending on their experiences. After studying mural painting, old houses became another of my specialties. The hyperrealisme art movement influenced my techniques. It is generally called naturalistic painting, but I call it classic paintings, graphics and sculptures.
