I was about 4 years old when I first realized that I wanted to become an artist. That’s what I told the adults who used to watch me.
I impressed the teachers at school who encouraged me with good grades.
I started to visit the local artist Sixten Engberg, in the early 60’s, in Sala, Sweden. He became my mentor and I tried my first oil paintings experiences in his studio. I soon established my own studio.
I moved to Paris, France in 1966, where I frequented art galleries, art museums and
art school eventuallyl.
I was elected to my first official Swedish exhibition in 1970, and have since participated in major exhibitions in four different countries, Sweden, France, Denmark and Norway.
